We still have plenty of tailgate tickets available for just $20! The Windy City Gator Club will be heading to Lexington once again for our annual football roadtrip! Over 125 Gators joined us at our last University of Kentucky tailgate so this is an event you do not want to miss! This year we have partnered with the Bluegrass Gator Club of Lexington to bring you an even bigger and better event!
We have reserved a large area on the University of Kentucky campus (about a 10 minute walk to the stadium) for our tailgating festivities! An authentic Lexington barbeque company will be cooking up all sorts of southern delights including: BBQ chicken, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, and dessert! We will also be providing soft drinks and water. Plenty of activities including bags, bocce ball, and washers will get you fired up for the big game!
Event Details
We will be offering a game ticket/tailgate package for $70 and a just-the-tailgate package for $20. In order to ensure our members are given first priority in ticket sales, the game ticket/tailgate package will go on sale to current WCGC members on July 18th at 9:00AM. If tickets are still available, sales will open up to the general public on July 25th at 9:00AM. Sales for the tailgate are open to all Gator fans starting on July 18. To sign-up simply click here.
Transportation: attendees are responsible for their own transportation to Lexington. Should you wish to carpool, please email us, and we will try our best to assist you in finding a carpool.

We are also recommending the Hyatt Place Lexington (the hotel our group stayed at two years ago). The rate through online travel sites (ie. Expedia) is cheaper than the rate they could offer us as a block. So if people are interested in that hotel, we are recommending to book it online through one of those sites. The price through Expedia is $109 a night plus tax and rooms sleep 6.
The hotel blocks expire one month from the game so everyone must book by August 23 to secure the rate.
