One of the main goals of the WCGC is to promote the University of Florida and support its scholarship endeavors. Each year, our club awards a $1500 scholarship to a local teen attending the University of Florida. Additionally, we also make a contribution to the Florida Opportunity Scholarship, which awards scholarships to first-generation college students. Last year we gave $6000 and hope to increase that amount this year! These scholarship contributions are made possible by our generous sponsors and donors, and by fundraising endeavors throughout the year.
